Smoked Brisket w/ PB&J










10 lbs brisket (half of a 20-pounder from Costco)
Montreal Steak seasoning
Charcoal w/ several water-soaked 1" x 2" pieces of alder or apple wood
Rub brisket with Montreal Steak seasoning.
Smoke for 8 hours replenishing coals after 4 hours.
Move to roasting pan filled with 1" water covered with aluminum foil. Bake @225F in oven for 8 more hours or until 180-190F internal temperature reached.  Let rest for 1 hour and slice.

Top brisket sandwich with 2 T grape jelly and 2 T peanut butter coupled with favorite chipolte vinegar barbecue sauce.
