Pecan Pie

3 eggs, slightly beaten
1 cup light or dark corn syrup
1 cup sugar
2 tablespoons butter or margarine, melted
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/2 cups pecans
One 9 inch pie crust

Preheat oven and cookie sheet to 350F. In large bowl stir first 5 ingredients until well blended. Stir in pecans.  Pour into pie crust. Bake on cookie sheet for 50-55 minutes or until knife inserted halfway between center and edge comes out clean. (Do not overbake.) Cool. Serves 8.
