Jennifer Nelson's Brownies

 

Melt together:

1 C unsalted butter

½ C cocoa

½ Tb espresso powder


Add:

2 C sugar

4 eggs

1 ¼ C all-purpose flour

½ tsp salt

1 tsp vanilla

1 C walnuts, chopped (optional)


Mix until just combined. Pour into 8” x 8” clear pyrex pan. Bake at 350F for 47 minutes.
